Thursday, September 28, 5 to 7:30 pm, DURR Train Depot, Arkville
Transition Catskills will have a table on board The MARK Project’s Local-Motive Tasting Train, a roundtrip rail ride from Arkville to Roxbury. Passengers will savor a taste of locally sourced food and beverages from a dozen vendors – artisanal brews and spirits, cheeses, meats, syrups and sauces.
The elegant and commodious Rip Van Winkle Flyer, which was once the locomotive limousine of railroad barons, departs the DURR depot at 5 p.m. Enjoy live music, complimentary wine and beer, and stunning vistas at the peak of fall foliage.
The event is sponsored by the Margaretville Telephone Company.
Transition Catskills will have a display of our projects to date. Discover how we can help you effect meaningful change in your village.
The Local-Motive sold all available seats for the previous August event, so be sure to get your tickets while they last.
